hello

Hi ya, all! Here is one more homework for Day 1 of the super fun Watercolor for Card Markers Online Card Classes as well as for Cure for Monday Blues Challenge #17.

Yes, I am stuck on Day 1 and Day 2 of the class! It was super fun making this background, I couldn't help myself! =) Here is the inspiration photo/theme for Cure for Monday Blues Challenge #17.

Those bright springy colors are just too sweet!

To make the background, I created a few really thin washes of watercolor and laid them down in stripes on the watercolor panel. After the first layer have dried, I laid down another layer of color washes to create the layered stripes. The hello die is from Simon Says Stamp and it's coated with Rock Candy Distress Stickles for a little sparkle.

That's all for now. Have a delightful day, my friends! =)

Thanks for stopping by!
